Jennifer is originally from Lake Orion, Michigan and recently moved back to the area to spend more time with her family. Jennifer graduated from Central Michigan University in 1998 with a degree in sports medicine and worked briefly at Livonia Churchill High School as an athletic trainer. In 2001, she decided to return to school to become a veterinarian. She graduated from Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2008 and practiced small animal medicine in Orlando, Florida for 3 years. In 2011, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada to practice for another 9 years. She has a wide array of medical experience working in different regional settings, but thoroughly enjoys internal medicine, emergency medicine and dermatology.

Jennifer has been married to her husband Pete, a golf instructor, since 2014. They currently are parents to 3 dogs (Arthur the Golden Retriever, Bella the Dachshund mix and Chewie the Pomeranian), 3 cats (Mush the Himalayan and Max and Hobson the domestic shorthairs) and an African grey parrot named Sam. In her spare time, she enjoys running, hiking and traveling. She’s excited to be back in Michigan as part of the Orion Animal Hospital team and is also excited to take her niece and nephews to future MSU football games.
